Happy Winter Church Family!
 
January was a slow month for our youth, mostly impacted by the snow. I always find it refreshing when God forces us to slow down. What we do with that time is up to us.
 
Moving forward, February is anything but a slow-down! We will have regular youth group meetings on the 1st and 15th (from after church-1pm). 
 
Our long awaited Winter Retreat at Pocono Plateau will be from February 27th to March 1st. This is open to youth from 3rd-12th grade! Please let me know if your child is coming! If they are in 3rd-6th grade, please register at https://www.poconoplateau.org/event/winter-jamboree/ and children from 6th-12th grade register at https://www.poconoplateau.org/event/winter-blast/. We will meet at, then leave from Reeders Church at 5:30pm on Friday, and return to the church on Sunday in the early afternoon. Any questions, please let me know!

Emma was appointed in January 2023 as the new Youth Pastor at Reeders UMC.  One of her responsibilities at Reeders will be to lead and work with the Youth Group.  Her goal will be to bring them together and guide them in their growth at Reeders as group of active participants in some of the ministries at Reeders while they enjoy some fun activities while continuing to educate and develop their knowledge of the Lord and the Bible.
