Who We Are, What We Do

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed ~ 2 Timothy 2:15) is an international, non-denominational, Bible-centered ministry committed to teaching children the Word of God.  At AWANA children play games, have Bible lesson time, and earn awards by reciting memorized scripture.
We are excited to welcome kids back to AWANA. Whether it’s your first year or ninth year at AWANA, we trust that God has something special for us this year!

AWANA is held Wednesdays after school from 4:00 to 5:30 for
ages 3 through 6th grade

Our club meetings consist of four components, but exact schedule and activities vary from club to club.

Opening Ceremony
After-school Snacks, pledges to the American & AWANA flags,
AWANA song

Handbook Time
Kids recite to their leaders the sections they’ve
learned during the week or take time to learn additional verses

Game Time
Game Directors lead the kids in a variety of fun games and activities

Large Group Time
A time to explore a Bible lesson


Registration will be held Sunday, September 8th from
Noon to 1PM.  
Print out the forms below and complete them and bring them along to registration or complete them and drop them off at the church office by Monday, Sept. 9th

FIRST MEETING - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH AT 4PM

All children ages 3 thru 6th grade are welcome.  Transportation is available for children attending school in the Pocono Mountain School District (Swiftwater campus).

Forms may be accessed by the links below and completed forms brought with you to the Open House on September 10th or dropped off at the church anytime by dropping off in the black mailbox on the right wall outside the main entrance.
